Quick Brownie Bliss

My daughter and I have a secret! Since it’s just the two of us at home, it’s hard for us to finish an entire pan of brownies, so we rarely make them. In fact, we never did! We tend to avoid desserts in preference of fruits anyway. That has recently changed.

We found a quick and simple recipe that only takes minutes to make 2 brownies for us – a perfect quick dessert when we are craving something chocolaty.

THE INGREDIENTS:
1/4 Cup Sugar
1/4 Cup Flour
2 Tablespoons Cocoa
2 Tablespoons Oil
3 Tablespoons Water
Pinch of Salt

Optional Ingredients:
Marshmallows, chocolate syrup, nuts, and anything else you enjoy in your brownies.

DIRECTIONS:
1- Mix all the ingredients together and divide evenly into two large coffee cups (or microwave safe dishes).

2- Microwave for about 1:40, watching closely to avoid burning.
I pull them out about 15 seconds before they are done and toss on a few mini marshmallows to allow them to melt a bit.

3- Once the brownie is done, pull it out and allow it to cool for a few minutes.
(Trust me – it comes out VERY HOT! It will burn your mouth.)

4- Just before serving, I like to drizzle a little chocolate syrup over it. Stick a spoon in the cup and serve. It is still warm and extremely tasty.

After you try it, let us know what you think!
We’d love to hear what you do to make them your own!
