What a wonderful week. Aryanna has Spring Break and we are enjoying the time together. We definitely needed this time to reconnect.
We spent a day running errands and then hung out at the Como Zoo & Conservatory. It is so wonderful to spend time surrounded by plants. It really seemed to lift our spirits. We then enjoyed a meal at Arby’s and some downtime at home prior to dance class.
We 
enjoyed a morning of relaxation, free play, and work (no spring break for me). After lunch, we dug out the Monopoly board. What I thought would be a couple hour break turned into a nearly 6 hour game – even though we had a slight distraction about 3-1/2 hours into the game, when our cat, Dominic, decided we should be done! At that time, Aryanna decided to offer me her Park Place and Boardwalk for $500 so I could win and we could be done. Instead of taking the trade, we picked up and called it a draw.
I was amazed to see how great she did with counting and math. What a huge improvement since the last time we played and I had to help her count out her money. Love seeing her grow in her knowledge.
We even started working harder on this website – getting pictures up and Aryanna decided she wanted her own page for her stories, pictures, dreams, and anything else she can dream. I’m excited to see what she ends up putting there.
Aryanna got her first email address and she has been busy playing with that as well. Hard to believe how fast they grow up. I’m so thankful for each and every moment I have with her.
